Another Complete Game for Morris
Matt Morris pitched his third complete game of the season tonight and earned his seventh win. He also put a halt to the Giants three game losing streak further adding to his reputation as the Giants “stopper”, six out of his seven wins have come after a loss the game before. After a not so stellar first inning, allowing three runs on three hits, Morris buckled down allowing only four more hits and no runs leading to a 4-3 Giants victory. Coming into tonight’s game the Giants hadn’t scored a run since Friday night which translates into 21 scoreless innings, so tonight’s win was pretty sweet. Bonds also ended his homerless streak at twelve games, blasting a two run homer over the centerfield wall in the fourth inning, making him only eight short of tying Aaron. Tonight’s win was exactly what the doctor ordered. Offense just needs to do what it did tonight every night instead of every five games or so. Well, until tomorrow. Go Giants!

Excellent blog entry.
I watched the game on TV late last night and saw Barry (Agent 007 Bonds) fly his Boeing 747!

As Bonds goes, so go the Giants.
I'm reading an excellent book on Bonds, "Love Me, Hate Me", by Jeff Pearlman. I'll share some anecdotes from the book soon on Some Ballyard, but just wanted to tip you off if you're interested in some reading. It's definitely better than that tabloid "Game of Shadows". "Love Me, Hate Me" reveals a complicated and complex character. Bonds may still be a jerk, but you at least have some clue as to why. And you see the positives, too.
